Alcohol policy

Is the alcohol policy on campus strictly enforced?
What halls would you recommend for someone who isn't into partying/drinking?

Thanks in advance :)

Yeah, I was at OU 2004-05 and in like the third week of classes a kid died after a frat party. The alcohol policy changed in January 2005. I must admit I lived in the Yorkshire apartments which were not included in the policy (none of the apartment complexes were/are as far as I know) so I don't know how strictly it is enforced in the dorms.
Ideally, most of the halls are good. I'd lean towards an academic floor (you can request those). As a former RA, we try to be very strict on drinkers in the dorms. Most of the dorms are either under renovation/have been renovated, so they're quite nice now, but again, I'd lean towards an academic floor. However, it has been 2 years since lived there, so....

Hope this helps!
When I was there in the early 90s, I lived in Walker Tower.
There wasn't drinking going on in any public/common area...and if people were loud in their rooms, you called the RA or security, and they came and took care of it. I never had issues with it, and I was a non-drinker/non-partyer. I lived there three years of my five at OU.
